The South Centre has been financed mainly by voluntary contributions from countries of the South. The Member Countries of the South Centre contribute to the operating costs of the Centre based on a voluntary scale of contributions adopted by the Council of Representatives at its 6th meeting on 14 July, 2005 in Geneva,Switzerland.
The South Centre also finances its programmes and activities with the support of funds from other donors, including the governments and specialized agencies of non-Member Countries, foundations and intergovernmental organizations.
Contributions to the South Centre capital fund or for its operating expenses are welcome from governments, intergovernmental institutions, charities, individuals, as well as public and private corporate enterprises.
