Applications for employment are equally welcome from women and men. Persons wishing to apply for employment at the South Centre should be nationals of a member country of the Group of 77 and China and be under the age of 62 years.
Vacancies are filled based on open competition and are advertised by means of vacancy notices and are also posted on the website as well as occasionally advertised in the press.
The South Centre’s internship programme offers an opportunity for students and young professionals to gain an understanding of the technical areas that the South Centre deals with. The South Centre regularly offers internships in:
- Trade for Development
- Health, Intellectual Property and Biodiversity
- Sustainable Development and Climate Change
All internship applications should include an Internship Application Form duly filled.
The South Centre is currently accepting applications for the Internship with the Health, Intellectual Property and Biodiversity (HIPB) Programme. The next session of the internship will be in January 2020.
