Third meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Intergovernmental Committee for the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-sharing, 24-28 February, 2014
The South Centre, represented by Viviana Munoz, Manager IAKP, participated in the Third Meeting of the Open-ended Ad hoc Intergovernmental Committee for the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization (ICNP 3) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) was held from 24-28 February 2014, in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea. The Nagoya Protocol was adopted in 2010. Currently, 29 countries have ratified. The Protocol will enter into force once it is ratified by 50 countries.
