Dinesh TRIVEDI (Board Member, 2020 – present)

Dinesh TRIVEDI, India, born on June 4, 1950, in New Delhi, India, is a senior Indian politician with a diverse career spanning business, aviation, and public service. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin, and is also a trained pilot. He is a graduate in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.

He has held important Ministerial portfolios as Cabinet Minister of Railways and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare. He has been a Member of Parliament for multiple terms from both Houses – Lok Sabha (Lower House) and Rajya Sabha (Upper House). As a Parliamentarian, he served on the Parliamentary Committees on Finance and on Commerce.

Mr Trivedi was recipient of the Outstanding Parliamentarian Award for 2016-17. He served as the Chairman of the Indo-European Union Parliamentary Forum (IEUPF), and member of other International Parliamentary Forums. He also served as the founding convenor of the Forum of Parliamentarians to make India free of Leprosy.

Mr. Trivedi is married to Minal Trivedi.
