The South Centre and the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 6 October 2016 at the South Centre in Geneva. DNDi and the South Centre are joining efforts directed at overcoming intellectual property barriers to increasing access to affordable antiviral-based treatments in developing countries, thereby fostering a public health approach to the treatment of hepatitis C virus.
